A little something different today-
When Bill walks the dogs in the evening, a neighbor around the corner named James, usually chats with Bill. For the past several months, James has been trying to convince Bill to buy his car. It is a 2000 Mercury Marquis, LS (Kelly Blue Book is around $3000). At first, James tried to get Bill to buy the car for $10,000. Now, he has upped his price to $20,000! Bill has told him repeatedly he doesn't want or need a car, he has a truck for work. That hasn't stopped James from talking about how good a deal this car is. Finally on Sunday, Bill said, "If I want to buy a car, I'll buy myself a Porsche." To which James retort was, "You should buy an American car like a Rolls Royce." Huh? A mind is a terrible thing.
