Strutting down Jefferson Street

At 10:30 PM, while walking the dogs, I saw 2 black hookers walking down Jefferson Street between 35th and 36th Streets. One was wearing a white mini dress and both were strutting down the street. (never on the sidewalk) A guy in a small pick up truck going down 35th Street damn near got whiplash, he swiveled his head so fast looking at the girls. That is his truck that you see the tail lights on at 36th as he is talking to the girls. Whatever was said, I guess he didn't have the $$, 'cause he drove away down Jefferson toward Victory.

Well, Easter Sunday and it was QUIET! It was positively wonderful.
Hiyah was sober enough to go shopping with his  Old Lady, without her having a fit.

On a sour note, at 10:30 PM when I was walking the dogs, a white pick up truck (commercial type with the built-in toolboxes on the sides and full of junk in the back) was cruising down Jefferson at about 5 MPH. A hooker (black female, not skinny, probably in her 20's) was walking IN the street, also going southbound on Jefferson Street. The truck pulled into the alley and the girl walked over to the truck and they struck up a conversation. It lasted about 5 minutes before she got into the truck and they drove away. What is it going to take to get rid of these scumbags?

Picture on the back of the house at 216 W. 35th Street

As a follow-up to the story of the plant thief, the home owners heard the thief was staying under the house at 216 W. 35th Street. So, they made a print of the video showing the thief stealing their plants and posted it on the back of the house next to the Condemned sign. LOL!

Meanwhile the homeowners have now fortified the fence in the back yard. They are planning on adding nails to the top of the new fence. What for, you may ask? Well, you hammer the nails into the top of the fence leaving a good 2 inches sticking out. Then using a grinder, you remove the heads of the nails. What you are left with is a lot of points sticking up. Then, the fun begins. They get rusty, and when a stupid thief tries to climb over the fence, they get a handful of rusty nail holes in their hands! Hello! One of our neighbors is retired military and he told us that is what is all around his back yard. What a great idea!

 Well, Friday night was busy at the Freshman party house on West 35th Street. The place was hopping. As you can see, the trash was left all over the place. Beer bottles, cans, and just trash left wherever it was dropped. The people there should tell their party friends that Friday nights you can not park on the even side of the street. Cars were parked all over and the street sweeper was not able to clean for at least 2 city blocks. On the plus side, the city made some serious dough!

I was on the front porch about 11 AM on Sunday and Hiyah was getting an earful from his old lady. She was pissed again. She took his beer (that was in a brown paper bag) and tossed it in the street. Oh boy! he called her all kinds of names, the N word and M-F among them. She smacked him up side the head. I busted out laughing! He went and got his beer and popped it open and it squirted all over. But Hiyah is not to be deterred. He got his big mouth on that can and sucked it down in about 10 seconds! Then he nicely tossed the can in the trash. Woo Woo! that's a big improvement.

Bill was walking the dogs this morning when a neighbor told him about some recent thefts. It seems that someone is going around stealing plants of all things. They are pulling up the plants by the roots out of peoples yards as well as taking planters off porches. The neighbor actually installed CAMERAS and had video! Never guess what happened next. The neighbor showed it to the police and they said "So what are we supposed to do?" HELLO!  Try doing some thing resembling Police work. Arrest the prick.
I don't know what more the citizens of Savannah can do. We give them pictures, video and they still can't arrest people. I guess my neighbor did the only right thing.  He shot the M-F DEAD! I guess we need more arms.

See the hooker shuffling in the middle of Jefferson Street.

 On Wednesday at 8 AM, I saw this hooker hanging out on Jefferson Street. She was sitting on the steps of a house in the 200 block of West 35th. Then she shuffled away- I mean it looked like Charley Chaplin walking down the street!
At 6 AM when Bill was walking the dogs, a black man (about 50 years old) was harassing a  young black schoolgirl who was walking to the bus stop. She was dressed in khaki pants, a blue shirt and a back pack. It was obvious she was a schoolgirl.  The man followed her for 2 blocks making lewd comments. She finally yelled at him to leave her alone. Later in the day, I was talking to the owner of David's Crabs, Malcolm. He told me one of this employees was walking down the street with her 11 year old daughter when a man approached them asking for sex. Appalling!

The 200 block of West 35th Street. All the trash was picked up on Friday and it was all looking good. Then some A-hole throws trash all over the place on Friday night. What is wrong with these people?

Friday 7 AM   Enjoy the quiet. It won't stay this way for long.,

 Ah, here we are on Friday morning at 7 AM. Hiyah has really been on a bender the last few days. He has been out drinking 'til after 11 PM. I guess even professionals need a little break. So, I'm going to enjoy these few minutes early in the morning without the drunks.

Picked up trash, at last!

Looks like the landlord paid someone to clean the yard at 212 W. 35th Street. No more bottles, cans, cigarette packages or food waste on the street, sidewalk and yard. However, obviously picking up the cigarette butts wasn't part of that. The lawn was cut and little pieces of cigarette butts are shredded all over the place. Enjoy the view now, 'cause this is Friday and  tonight these freshmen will P-A-R-T-Y!

Saturday/Sunday April 2/3 2011

Saturday night fight.

Beer at 8 AM

Saturday night at 6 PM, 2 young black males were involved in a fight. In the photo, you will see the one in the brown shirt is on top, and he is pummeling the other one on the ground while the man in the striped shirt is looking around. After a good 10 minutes, one man separated the two fighters. But that wasn't the end. The man on the receiving end of these punches, jumped inside the Hyundai and it appears pulled the keys out. He then threw them as far as he could behind David's Crabs. This resulted in a much larger fight with about a dozen men. I then called 9-1-1. I got some of the fight on video. As soon as the sirens were heard by the crowd, they quickly dispersed. I called the officers over and showed them the video. I will likely take some of the video and put it to the old Elton John song, "Saturday night's alright for fighting."
Well, here we are on Sunday morning. How the hell did Hiyah remember to save a beer for breakfast? Immediately after this picture, the man in the red hat walked between the buildings and peed. I couldn't get my phone out fast enough to take a picture. These scum have got to go away.

Well, isn't this nice. Someone trashed nearly a whole pizza right up in the historic area. This looks nice for the tourists. At least the pigeons are enjoying it.

Yesterday as I walked out to get in my car, I saw all this trash on the corner. Why do people insist on throwing their garbage out in the street? What is wrong with these people?

Friday April 1. Blocking Driveway.

 On Friday, people seem to lose their minds around here. They park anywhere and everywhere. This Big SUV is blocking the driveway for David's Crabs as well as parking on the WRONG side of the street.The driver of a car parked in the driveway had to ask assistance to get out of the driveway of David's Crabs. Good thing it wasn't a big delivery truck!
